Ethiopia is now on another 6 months state emergency. But the situation for travellers is totally fine and safe! Just avoid areas where demonstration takes place.

And ofcourse, there may be price hike, b/c somehow Ethiopia is running out of foreign currency, and their may also be shortage of fuel.
