A previously unconfirmed population of lions has now been officially confirmed! Following a recent expedition supported by Born Free USA and Born Free Foundation, wildlife conservationists have found indisputable evidence—for the first time—that lions are living in a remote national park near the Ethiopia-Sudan border. The expedition into Alatash National Park was led by Dr. Hans Bauer, a renowned lion conservationist working for Oxford University's Wildlife Conservation Research Unit (WildCRU).
